We’re considering a feature that will allow you to perform data updates to existing list members en masse or one-by-one whether you’re uploading a file or by entering the data by hand. When you upload a list of existing list members, we’ll locate the matching ones and, if you tell us to, we’ll go ahead and update those matches with your new data, all in one step!

Similarly, when you choose to enter a new list member by hand, we’ll let you know if Stacey Jones’ email address already exists, and let you choose to keep the existing data, merge it with your new data or update it as you see fit. Because all list members will have one and only one record you wouldn’t need to search for them across all lists to update their customer information. If you update one Stacey Jones record, you’re done and all lists instantly have access to that information.

Permalink Reply by Joanne on October 20, 2008 at 3:27pm: Yes, especially for me because my VR data is not synched with our CRM data. When I do a new campaign, I have to download an updated list from our CRM tool and upload it to VR.

Another management tool that would be very nice is having the ability to create folders for emails and lists.

In regards to folders for lists and emails, that's one that we've got on our backlog of features to work on. I'm hoping to get that one moving in the coming months as we have some other ideas for folders and/or "tags" for lists and emails. Stay tuned. I'll try to keep you all updated in this forum.
