My company signed up for VR last week, and I just sent out our first e-mail campaign today. Unfortunately, I'm not sure we'll continue using VR after our initial buy in of e-mails expires. The problem that I was stressing over for the past few days is that we are only allowed 250 characters for hyperlinks. We are sending out new product announcements to our rep firms, and directing them to our secure SharePoint server to download the sales documents, so our links are in the 350 character range. After submitting a help e-mail and then calling VR, the only work around found was to insert a 'nr_' in front of the link url, which allows the hyperlink to be displayed properly, but defeats the whole purpose of this software because it disables the click tracking function. We send hundreds of e-mails a year, and were really hoping that VR would be a great tool to use for tracking how our communications are being received, so hopefully someone on the development team will read this and increase the allowed number of characters, or we will be looking for another company soon. Sorry this is a negative post, however I'm sure we can't be the only company who has come across this very important issue.
