VerticalResponse Marketing Lounge

On November 20th VR will host a a webinar for our users focusing on Deliverability questions. The VR Delivery Team would like this presentation to be built around specific user concerns and questions.

What questions do you have for this webinar?

Are you interested in information about sending mail to B2B accounts?
Questions about what bounces are and the different types of bounces that are out there?
Are you curious about specific ISPs like Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail?
Questions about how VR Authenticates mail?

Anything. We are interested in what you want to know more about.

Please either post your questions here or send them to the VR Delivery Team directly at deliveryteam @ verticalresponse.com. We look forward to seeing your suggestions!

Thank you!

Hi Kiersti,

I have questions regarding bounces, which you may address in the presentation. Specifically, why would we continue to see bounces if we are mailing to the same list over a period of time. Is it possible that an ISP would send a message through one week, then bounce a couple of weeks later without being prompted by the recipient? Or, should we assume that recipients may be reporting our messages as spam?

Thanks,
Brian

Brian,
I would like to dive into bounces in the presentation. Have you seen this happen with specific ISPs or email network more than others?

Hi, Kiersti,

I would like to know why some ISPs or mail services appear to distribute VR-created email newsletters as text instead of HTML. I'm still having trouble with this and can't figure out what could be causing it. Thanks!

RG, This is interesting and I think covering rendering at various ISPs would be good to cover. Which ISPs or email networks are you seeing this text delivery issue specifically?

Kiersti,
I'm seeing this with Outlook 2003, Gmail, and Yahoo! Mail so far. Definitely worries me since I don't know which of my recipients are actually receiving the HTML version of the newsletter.

Thanks,
Ramona
