Hey, that's an interesting idea!

You have control over your optin form, so you could try replacing the branding link with a text link that tracks to your affiliate account. Or remove it all together if you wanted to use a graphic banner link instead. Feel free to post a link to your form for other affiliates to view and comment.

Keep us posted!

Hi Laura,

Thanks for getting back to me.

No, if I became an Affiliate partner first, then added the VR Opt-in form on my site (not sure if this would be an affiliate link - and that's my point)

Or would I have to use a specific affiliate link banner/graphic on my site to receive the affiliate commission?

If so, I may as well put my own form on my site (without VR branding) to get the client's details. Otherwise I'm promoting VR for free and you get new customers without paying anything to help 'oils the works'.

Why not consider combining both for affiliate partners - seems fair to me?

Thanks,

David

It would be ideal if you could combine the two.

Hi David, thanks for your post. If I understand correctly, you are referring to placing an affiliate tracking link on your own site and then signing up to be a VerticalResponse client through that link? If so, then the answer is yes. You will receive the affiliate commission for any qualifying referrals who sign up through that link - including yourself. I hope this answers your question. If not, let me know!

Hi,

If I put an Opt-in form on to my new web site, will I still receive the affiliate commission if I became an affiliate Partner. If not, why not?
Thanks,
david
