Tricky subject. Unfortunately, Google doesn't protect TM owners as well as they used to. You can stop them from using your trademark in the ad copy (I assume the company name is trademarked), but you can't stop them from bidding on your company na...
One thing I did read is about half of the searchers do not know the difference between the regular search and paid search results and the rest do not trust the paid ads.....I fall in the later catagory, I am very skeptical of paid results.

This is my opinion only and I know many will probably disagree. When I first started using search engines (google is all I use now) I would sometimes look at the paid ads......and always went back to my original search. I never look at them...
